Explaining the unexplainable! 🤯

 

I've struggled to explain to people what I do. 😞

Quite honestly, working online is a difficult concept to explain to friends and family.

It is especially challenging to explain to older folks who have no abstract understanding of a computer, let alone the internet.

What makes it even worse is its intangible nature. We can't touch it, smell or hear it — unless you are from the modem era. ☎️

It's often difficult for me to simplify complex concepts for mere mortals.

I've equally struggled to explain it to younger people — the power it wields and how it can benefit them.

Thanks to the internet, more than one thousand seven hundred new millionaires are made every day — in the US alone. 💰

But not everyone is ready to be unplugged from the Matrix.

It's quite interesting that you can explain something to someone which is likely to change their lives for the better, but somehow, they never act upon it.

It's a mindset issue.

I've learned that all we can do is take the donkey to the water…

…but we can't make the donkey drink. 🚰

And we can't save everyone, unfortunately.

I wish I could. I suffer from a hero complex. 🦸🏿‍♂️

OK, not actually, but I do love helping people. 🤗

Think about the day you have to tell people that you work on Facebook or something like that.

I've learned that the best way is to do your part and move on.
